Luke Smile: Moving On Up
As a self confessed text addict, I watched Luke’s career progress from his graphic design background into his execution of sublime text based street art, branding and design. The detail can sometimes be missed in Lukes work, but take a closer look and you will just how intricate the design, colouring, shadows and shading are in his work. This wonderfully positive, bold and uplifting piece really pops off the wall in so many ways. The detail and the planning that go into getting this right was evident over the festival and saw Luke pull some of the longest days and juggle all the weather the glorious North had to throw at him to get this done. All worth while and he certainly made a big impression on the crowds over the weekend and beyond.
